Pilarcitos #1 CandleStick Park 2011

Pilarcitos is back! Yesterday was the first race of four they will be hosting in the Bay Area this season. Our team met up early, and headed to CandleStick Park to compete in the heat. Fortunately for the Single Speed A’s, they raced at 9:40am, and avoided the hottest part of the day. Enclosed are some images Gabe shot out on this dry, dusty, bumped out course.

Paperwork: Strong race for Daniel, Chas, Blake, and Garrett. Looks like Daniel placed 1st, 14th, and 27th in the same race. That is not easy!

Rainier won this SS series this year, so he is racing with the Elite Men A’s this season. He earned his call-up in the front row.
