It has been a while since I have seen Josh’s part from our first project. Josh and Demarco symbolized a changing of the guard for messengering here in SF. These fluid, fearless young racers adapted these bikes, and look so comfortable in otherwise stressful situations. Most of the clips in his part were on borrowed bikes. The first time we met was at a 10-9 race in 2004. He was on that red fuji in the video. He had painted it complete. I remember thinking that an all red headset looked nice. In many ways several of these riders showed a new generation how to use these bikes, and in return pushing the developing sport.
