B.A.S.P #3 2011 Nov 28, 2011 Categories: MASH Frames 0 Comment Yesterday the team met back in Golden Gate Park for the third Pilarcitos race of the season. The conditions were perfect after last weekend’s SSCXWC event that mixed up the trails. One week later, they were fast, tacky, and ready for Race #3 from Bay Area Super Prestige. Enclosed are some images from the event. GG Park never disappoints, and yesterday was no different. Blake taking the whole-shot in the A’s SSCX From the top of the run-up. Blake following the red and white. The course was really fast and tacky compared to last weekends mud-fest. Walton coming through the keyhole. Dylan rode a century on his track bike the day before, and made it to the start of the race with no time to spare. Big weekend in the saddle. A racer circling the duck pond. Walton keeping it fun on the way back through the trees. Garrett railing into a tight left corner in the A’s SSCX. Blake finding a section of sun in the A’s SSCX group. This child found sun at the bottom of the run-up. Blake in the tapes Walton at the finish. W for W. 1st A’s SSCX Chas 2nd A’s SSCX. He is feeling cursed with tons of 2nd place finishes this season, but who would not be stoked with those results?! Rad to see MASH on the podium 1 + 2! The stories right after the race are the best. These guys were physically bumping up the last climb, then Walton hopped the last barrier to pull away at the corner to the straight. All in good fun. MM
