GIRO DI SF DETAILS

On Monday, many of us headed to the Giro Di San Francisco to race, and cheer for friends. Rainier, Steve, and Kyle all raced throughout the day. Steve placed early in the day with a 3rd place finish in the 5’s. Kyle and Rainier lined up at 3pm to race the Cat 1-2 main event. This was Kyle’s second crit ever, so jumping in with these guys was no small effort. This is however, Rainier’s strong suit and it showed as he worked for the team throughout the day. The Mike’s Bikes wall kept the pace fast for the entire 1.5 hour crit.

Rainier, and his teammates dominated the race, offering a deep roster that ended in a podium sweep for Mike’s Bikes! We are incredibly proud to see friends coming from Allycat racing, and growing into additional disciplines within cycling. We are excited that Kyle and Rainier are racing Cross for MASH again in 2012/2013!
